Jennifer Mohr (She/Her)

Arkadina
Jennifer Mohr is a Chicago based actor and teaching artist. She has performed with various theatres in Chicago including First Folio, Chicago Shakespeare, Birch House Immersive, Artemisia, Idle Muse, Babes with Blades, Stage Left, and Midsommer Flight. She is a proud ensemble member at Idle Muse Theatre Company, as well as with Laughingstock Theatre, performing Commedia del'Arte around Chicago! Jennifer is also an enthusiastic artistic affiliate of Babes with Blades Theatre Company.
Jennifer is so thankful to this beautiful cast and Skylar for bringing so much heart and laughter, noise and love to this production.
Levi Denton-Hughes (They/He)

Konstantin
Levi has a BFA in Musical Theatre from the State University of Fredonia. By day they are a Music Enrichment Teacher; by night, an actor and singer serving as lead vocals for local ska band Run & Punch. Levi previously was a lead vocalist with Virgin Voyages.
Levi is extraordinarily excited to be in their first play in 4 years. Favorite past roles include - Ted in Peter and the Starcatcher, Romeo in Romeo and Juliet, and Dionysus in The Frogs. They are grateful for the opportunity to revisit their love for the violin while exploring this deeply meaningful comedy. They’d like to thank their cats, and their partner Emmett for being their line coach.
DC Cathro (He/Him)

Sorin
DC Cathro is excited to join this amazing cast and crew! Recent shows include The Virginian”with City Lit Theatre and The Subtle, Sublime Transformation of Benny V with A Short Leap Theatre Company. As a playwright, DC’s works have been produced and read at theatres and festivals across the U.S. and U.K., including The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, and St. Luke’s Theatre, Off-Broadway in New York City. He is an avid board game player and collector of all things whimsical.
Ruby Gibson (She/Her)

Nina
Ruby Gibson is a Chicago-based actor, writer, and educator who loves telling stories full of music and magic! Since graduating from Northwestern University in 2022, she has been thrilled to develop plays as an actor (The Good Girls, Artemisia Theatre; The Best Damn Thing, The Understudy) and playwright (Max Loves the Moon, The 24 Hour Plays Nationals; The Little Prince, Improv Playhouse).
Ruby is a proud ensemble member with PlayMakers Laboratory and teaching artist with Chicago Children’s Theatre, where she teaches drama, performs kid-written stories, and faithfully studies the kazoo. Offstage, you can find Ruby leading architecture tours on the beautiful Chicago River.
Ian Rigg (He/Him)

Trigorin
Ian Rigg is a Jeff-nominated actor going straight from his first Shakespeare to his first Chekhov. What's next? Straight to first in your heart? Recent favorite roles include Nick Bottom in Helena & Hermia in the Enamored Odyssey, The Narrator in The Rocky Horror Show, THE AMAZING KARNAK™ in Ride the Cyclone, and Count Dracula in
Dracula.

Sarah Cushman (She/Her)

Masha
Sarah is a Chicago-based actor and educator. She received her BA in Theatre Arts from Furman University and her MFA in Classical Acting from the Shakespeare Theatre Company Academy at GWU.
In her free time, Sarah loves baking and learning piano and spending time with her husband and their two pets. She is grateful to her friends, family, and husband who have always supported her. If you want to get into Masha’s head, Sarah recommends listening to “Desperado” by the Eagles while laying facedown on your bed.
Jack Morsovillo (He/Him)

Medvedenko / Music Director
Jack Morsovillo is an actor-musician from Chicago. He is the Resident Music director for Midsommer Flight, and he has provided music direction and original composition for Loves, Labours, Lost, Romeo and Juliet, Cymbeline, and Twelfth Night (additional orchestrations). He has worked around Chicagoland with Promethean Theatre Ensemble, Metropolis, Strawdog Theatre, and Bramble Theatre. Musically, he can also be seen onstage around Chicagoland with his bands, The Real Time (@therealtimeband) and Modern Daybreak (@moderndaybreakband).
Jack would like to thank Skylar for trusting him with shepherding the music of this piece, as well as the most amazing company of folks in The Seagull. Skylar Grieco (He/Him)

Director
Skylar Grieco is a Chicago based Director, Teaching Artist, and Musician interested in exploring new work at the intersection of music and theatre. He studied theatre at Middle Tennessee State University prior to moving to Chicago in 2017.
Previous credits include work for Raven Theatre, Mudlark Theatre, Haven Chicago, Underscore Theatre, Writers Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, and Vault Theatre. Skylar is the Artistic Director of Instrumental Theatre Company, and would like to thank the many friends, family members, mentors, and collaborators who have made this work possible.

Deanna Oglesby (Any/All)

Stage Manager
Deanna Oglesby is a Chicago transplant from a small town in KY! They are overjoyed to be back in the performing arts for the first time since 2020, and she couldn’t have asked for a cooler cast to return with!
A graduate of Western Kentucky University with a BFA in Musical Theatre, Deanna loves to sing, dance (good or not—jury’s still out), and indulge in their love of all things K-pop. At home, she’s surrounded by her four cats and the endless support of her husband, Jay. She’s grateful to this production for reminding her why theatre feels like home.
Ali Foley (She/Her)

Assistant Director/Intimacy
Ali is thrilled to be involved in Instrumental Theatre's inaugural production! Previous intimacy credits include work with Theatre Evolve, Green Shirt Studios, and Sandbox Theatre Collective. She's currently training with IDC Professionals.
In the summer Ali graduated with her MFA in Acting from Northwestern University, and this fall she'll be performing in Dutchman with Trap Door Theatre. You can catch her doing improv every week with the iO Theatre house team, Bl!mp.

Parrish Davis-Sauls (She/Her)

Costume Designer
Parrish Davis-Sauls is an immersive theatre artist and costume designer based in Chicago, IL. She pilgrimaged from Orlando, FL 4 years ago to continue to pursue her adventures in songwriting, sewing and historical theatre. You may catch her every summer running around as Mary Sidney at the Bristol Renaissance Faire.
Previous works include Universal Orlando Resort’s Frog Choir, Beth in Little Women: The Musical, and various other small musical performances around the Orlando area. In Chicago, Parrish has focused on original music, cosplay, historical costuming and sword
fighting. She would love to thank Skylar and the Instrumental Theatre Company for the trust and support they have provided. It is an honor to collaborate with a company wherein music is our blood.
Logan Smart (He/They)

Props Designer
Logan Smart is a teaching artist and theatre maker based in Chicago, Illinois. They love projects that center connecting individuals to the world around them. Previous acting credits include Toddler Hiking Club/Skunk/Kerffule, The Emperor’s New Clothes/Rudy/Missoula Children’s Theatre, and Pinocchio/Dude & Pinocchio US/Chicago Kids Company. Previous education partnerships include the Seattle Children’s Theatre, Florida Repertory Theatre, Tennessee’s Governor’s School for the Arts, & AmeriCorps’ Project YES! Program. You can currently find Logan hitting the Chicago Park trails with Toddler Hiking Club!
Joan Starkey (They/She)

Dramaturg
Joan Starkey is a dramaturg and script supervisor from Florida. Chicago credits include The Two Noble Kinsmen at Forest Theatre Company, An Enemy of the People at Sub Rosa Theatre Collective, and A Lie of the Mind at Raven Theatre (assistant dramaturg). She holds a BFA in Dramaturgy & Criticism from DePaul University.
